ww2dbaseI-369, a 1440-ton "D1" type transport submarine, was built at Yokosuka, Japan. Completed in October 1944, she was converted in early 1945 to carry "Kaiten" man-guided torpedoes. I-369 was surrendered with the Japanese Navy's other surviving warships in September 1945 and scrapped in about 1946.

1945年3月20日 | Submarine I-369 was reassigned to Submarine Division 16 as her original unit, Submarine Squadron 7, became deactivated. |
1945年3月22日 | Lieutenant Commander Masato Nakajima became the commanding officer of Submarine I-369. |
1945年4月16日 | Submarine I-369 departed Yokosuka, Japan for Caroline Islands. She carried 0.312 tons of food, 6.303 tons of weapons and ammunition, 25 tons of fuel, and 4.4 tons of other cargo for Truk, and 38.9 tons of food and 2.6 tons of other cargo for Woleai. |
1945年5月1日 | Submarine I-369 arrived at Truk, Caroline Islands. This would be the last submarine-transport to arrive at Truk in the Pacific War. |
