ww2dbaseUSS Marlin was commissioned several months prior to the United States' entry into WW2. Throughout the war, she patrolled the waters off the coast of northeastern United States, from Maine down to the Long Island Sound, and conducted several training missions. She was decommissioned in late 1945 and was sold in 1946 for scrap.
