1942年12月27日 Escort carriers USS Nassau and USS Altamaha escorted by cruisers USS St. Louis and HMS Achilles with destroyers USS Nicholas, USS McCalla, USS McCall, and USS Craven departed Nouméa, New Caledonia bound for Espiritu Santo, New Hebrides.
1942年12月30日 Escort carriers USS Nassau and USS Altamaha escorted by cruisers USS St. Louis and HMS Achilles with destroyers USS Nicholas, USS McCalla, USS McCall, and USS Craven arrived at Espiritu Santo, New Hebrides.
1945年11月30日 McCall was decommissioned from service.
