ww2dbaseFleet escort ship F2 was commissioned into service in 1936. In Apr 1939, she was decommissioned to be rebuilt as a torpedo recovery vessel, but this work halted in Apr 1940 before completion and she returned to service with the 25th Submarine Flotilla. In Jun 1944, she was reassigned to the 5th Escort Flotilla and served in the Baltic Sea. After the war, she was taken over by the United Kingdom. She sank during a storm in Dec 1946 at Scapa Flow, Scotland, United Kingdom. Her wreck was sold for scrap in 1967.
