I have read and re-read the book "Band of Brothers", and watched the miniseries. The name Bill Guarnere always resonates with me, calling to mind resilience, bravery and decency. Peace at last, Bill.

I met Bill Guarnere at a show in Allentown about a half dozen years ago and he still had that great sense of humor. I recognized him and said, "You're Bill Guarnere, aren't you?" He immediately said, "I didn't so it!" Wonderful guy.
