The photo shows a mk.Ia Manchester(there was no mk.III)of 207 Squadron in 1941. The original Manchester mk.I had a tailplane of reduced span and a third fin on the fuselage top. The mk.Ia tailplane was carried over to the later Lancaster design.

There was a mk III, but it had 4 engines and looked like a lancaster

Note the Fraser-Nash FN7 mid-upper turret, known usually as the ‘Botha’ from the type of aircraft in which it was first used. Evacuation from this type of turret was, to say the very least, not easy, even for a small man. Guns would be a pair of belt-fed 1930 pattern Brownings of .303 calibre.
