Good photograph of the B-24 front office
Cluster of compasses and instruments, blocking center section of windscreen many pilots complained it blocked vision.
B-24 control wheels were attached to push-
pull tubes that extended from the instrument
panel instead of pivoting at floor level,as
was common on other aircraft.
