What type of ammunition is being loaded?
looks to large to be 7.92mm, could be the
13mm MG 131 the rounds look large, or they
could be the 15mm MG 151/15.
The weapons were air-cooled, recoil operated
and belt feed. They were synchronized to
fire through the propeller.
Note*
I've seen captured Russian machine gun metal link-belts, that hold the ammunition, and the design looks like it was copied from the
wartime German design.
