UBX: UNEXPLODED BOMB

LOOKS LIKE A JERRY SC500 TO ME, BUT LETS TAKE IT TO THE CAPTAIN TO MAKE SURE...

THE TWO TOMMIES ARE ARMED WITH LEE-ENFIELD NO.3 RIFLES. THE NO.3 HAD A FLAT-NOSED FOREND COVERED THE BARREL UP TO THE MUZZEL.

LETS SEE WHAT THE TOMMIES UNIFORMS ARE, LOOKS
LIKE THEY ARE WEARING LEATHER JERKIN LINED WITH THICK KHAKI CLOTH. THIS ITEM WAS FIRST WORN DURING WWI, AND PROVED POPULAR AND PRACTICAL.

EQUIPMENT LOOKS LIKE 1937 PATTERN UNIFORMS,
MK.1 STEEL HELMET, PANTS ARE BLOUSED WITH ANKLE-BOOTS W/LEATHER OR CANVAS GAITERS.
RIFLES COULD BE LEE-ENFIELD .303 CALIBER NO.1 OR NO.3 SMLE. WITH TEN ROUND FIXED BOX MAGAZINE. ANYWAY, THATS MY GUESS.
(SHORT MAGAZINE LEE ENFIELD)

CORRECTION FOR COMMENT #2, SHOULD READ
UXB: UNEXPLODED BOMB.

DID YOU KNOW ABOUT 900 TONS OF UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE BOMBS, SHELLS, BULLETS, GRENADES, LAND MINES AND NAVAL MINES, ARE RECOVERED IN EUROPE TODAY.

BETWEEN 2006 TO 2009, OVER 15,000 ITEMS OF ORDNANCE WERE FOUND IN THE UK ALONE.
