ww2dbaseThe Yak-7, also known as UTI-26, was a Russian two-seat trainer aircraft. Later during the war, the second seat was removed from the design for additional fuel or armament, and they acted as close-support fighters. Some of the two-seat versions also entered combat, though only in reconnaissance capacity. A total of 6,399 Yak-7 aircraft were built.
