ww2dbaseThe MT-1 Hayabusa ("Peregrine Falcon") airliners were built by the Manshu Aircraft Company in the Japanese-sponsored puppet state of Manchukuo in northeastern China in the 1930s. The prototype aircraft took its first flight in Apr 1937, and they soon joined the fleet of the Manchukuo National Airways to serve as passenger aircraft. A total of 30 aircraft were built. Though they were known to serve as transports of Japanese staff officers, because they were not officially pressed into military service, this design did not receive an Allied code name.
