1934年6月18日 Farragut was commissioned into service.
1942年12月16日 Battleships USS Washington, USS North Carolina, and USS Indiana escorted by destroyers USS Nicholas, USS Farragut, and USS Clarke departed Nouméa, New Caledonia on a patrol cruise around the Coral Sea.
1942年12月23日 Battleships USS Washington, USS North Carolina, and USS Indiana escorted by destroyers USS Nicholas, USS Farragut, and USS Clarke, joined by USS Fanning and Maury, returned to Nouméa, New Caledonia.
1945年10月23日 Farragut was decommissioned from service.

I have the battleship flag that was at pearl harbor and other battles,my dad won it in a raffle after it was shot down
