1944年9月15日	While at San Diego, escort carrier USS Coral Sea was renamed USS Anzio.
1944年11月18日	Ships and aircraft from the hunter-killer group built around escort carrier USS Anzio conducted a coordinated attack 350 miles east of the Philippines on the submerged Japanese submarine I-41 commanded by LtCdr Kondo Fumitake. Destroyer escort USS Lawrence C. Taylor launched a successful spread of Hedgehog anti-submarine mortars and the I-41 was lost with all hands. Other ships in the Anzio group were USS Melvin R. Nawman, USS Tabberer, USS Oliver Mitchell, and USS Robert F. Keller.
1945年2月13日	Destroyer escort USS Tabberer arrived off Saipan, Mariana Islands and delivered a supply convoy. Tabberer then sailed with escort carrier USS Anzio and destroyer USS Ralph Talbot for Iwo Jima.
1945年2月16日	USS Anzio, USS Tabberer, and the rest of their task group arrived southwest of Iwo Jima where the carriers launched pre-invasion strikes against the island.
1945年2月26日	45 miles west of Iwo Jima, Japanese submarine I-368 was spotted on the surface by US Navy Lt(jg) F.M. Fay flying a TBM-1C Avenger from USS Anzio. The Avenger released a Mark 24 FIDO acoustic homing torpedo and I-368 was lost with all 86 hands.
1945年3月12日	USS Steamer Bay, USS Anzio, and USS Tabberer arrived at San Pedro Bay, Leyte, Philippines.
1945年3月27日	USS Anzio and USS Tabberer arrived on station off Okinawa and remained for 52 days covering the landings there.
1945年3月31日	In the Philippine Sea, Japanese submarine I-361 with its deck loaded with five Kaitens was spotted on the surface by US Navy Lt(jg) Sam Stovall flying a TBM-3E Avenger from USS Anzio. The Avenger released a Mark 24 FIDO acoustic homing torpedo and I-361 was lost with all 76 hands plus the five Kaiten pilots.
1946年8月5日	Anzio was decommissioned from service.

It looks like all of page 1 and most of page 2 of the photographs are incorrectly identified as the USS Coral Sea.

This ship was commissioned as the USS Coral Sea in 1943 and was renamed USS Anzio in 1944. The photos you referenced were taken before the name change so they are captioned correctly for their respective dates. The carrier we are most familiar with named USS Coral Sea was a Midway-class carrier commissioned in 1947, a different ship.
