But since they were taken moments apart, your larger point about the inaccurate caption is also completely correct. Your caption appears to be incorrect. There were no gliders delivered to DZ "O" on 17 September. This appears to be the same photo (cropped) that you identify as 315th Troop Carrier Group delivering Polish Airborne to DZ "O" on 23 Sept. The latter caption is confirmed in Margry's Then and Now, Market Garden.
