Most informative site. My father.
Ronald Ward, (Australian) was a survivor of the the S.S. Josiah Snelling, torpedoed whilst bound for Port Vila in the New Hebrides(now Vanuatu) on 15 April 1943. The ship was loaded with foodstuffs, 12 head of cattle and 4 horses. If you have further any information regarding this event I would be most appreciative. Sincerely, Fay Miller (daughter of Mr. R. Ward.)
