Sorry,.. but this picture must be dated with 5th June 1944... D-Day was on June 6th.. the Paratroupers boarded their planes on the night from 5th to 6th June.

I saw a program with Susan Eisenhower (Ike's grandaughter) on CSPAN and she said that Ike was talking to a trooper about fly fishing and was making a casting motion when this photo was taken/

I have another question. The photo I have has another code on it: ETO-M(or H)Q-44-4699(or8). Can anyone tell me what this means?
